Je komt terecht in een specialistisch team dat wereldwijd maatwerkoplossingen ontwikkelt voor industriële afvalwaterzuivering. Van brouwerijen tot farmaceutische bedrijven en van voedingsmiddelenindustrie tot petrochemie. Iedere installatie is uniek en wordt volledig afgestemd op de wensen van de klant.

WAT GA JE DOEN?

Als Process Engineer ben je gedurende het hele project betrokken. Je denkt mee over de beste technische oplossing voor de klant, werkt ontwerpen uit en ondersteunt bij de inbedrijfstelling van nieuwe installaties. Dankzij jouw kennis zorg je ervoor dat iedere installatie optimaal functioneert en volledig aansluit bij de wensen van de klant. Je werkt nauw samen met Sales, Projectmanagement en Engineering. Daarnaast bezoek je regelmatig klanten in binnen- en buitenland om technische vraagstukken te bespreken, installaties in bedrijf te stellen en gebruikers te trainen.

Je houdt je onder andere bezig met:

• Ontwerpen en optimaliseren van procesinstallaties voor industriële afvalwaterzuivering;
• Ondersteunen van Sales tijdens offerte- en ontwerptrajecten;
• Controleren en vaststellen van procesparameters voor nieuwe projecten;
• Adviseren van klanten over de meest geschikte technische oplossing;
• Opstellen en aanpassen van operationele- en onderhoudshandleidingen;
• Begeleiden van de inbedrijfstelling en opstart van installaties;
• Verzorgen van trainingen voor operators en technische medewerkers bij klanten;
• Ondersteunen van de serviceorganisatie tijdens de aftersalesfase;
• Regelmatig reizen naar klanten wereldwijd voor commissioning, opstart en technische ondersteuning.

Geen project is hetzelfde. De ene keer werk je vanuit Leeuwarden aan een nieuw ontwerp, terwijl je de volgende keer een installatie in het buitenland opstart en samen met de klant de laatste optimalisaties doorvoert.

WAT BRENG JE MEE?

Je bent analytisch sterk, houdt van techniek en krijgt energie van complexe procesvraagstukken. Je denkt graag samen met collega’s en klanten na over de beste oplossing en voelt je thuis in een internationale werkomgeving.

Daarnaast breng je mee:

• HBO of WO werk- en denkniveau;
• Een afgeronde opleiding in Procestechnologie, Chemische Technologie, Milieukunde of vergelijkbaar;
• Minimaal 3 jaar relevante werkervaring als Process Engineer of Technoloog;
• Ervaring met biologische processen of afvalwaterzuivering is een sterke pré;
• Goede beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal;
• Beheersing van Duits, Frans, Spaans of Portugees is een pré;
• Rijbewijs B;
• Bereidheid om regelmatig internationaal te reizen en incidenteel langere tijd in het buitenland te verblijven.

You will join a specialist team that develops customized solutions for industrial wastewater treatment worldwide. From breweries to pharmaceutical companies and from the food industry to petrochemical companies. Every installation is unique and fully tailored to the customer’s requirements.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

As a Process Engineer, you are involved throughout the entire project. You contribute to finding the best technical solution for the customer, develop designs and support the commissioning of new installations. Thanks to your expertise, you ensure that every installation operates optimally and fully meets the customer’s expectations. You work closely with Sales, Project Management and Engineering. In addition, you regularly visit customers both nationally and internationally to discuss technical challenges, commission installations and train users.

Your responsibilities include:

• Designing and optimizing process installations for industrial wastewater treatment;
• Supporting Sales during quotation and design processes;
• Checking and defining process parameters for new projects;
• Advising customers on the most suitable technical solutions;
• Preparing and updating operation and maintenance manuals;
• Supervising the commissioning and start-up of installations;
• Providing training for operators and technical staff at customer sites;
• Supporting the service organization during the aftersales phase;
• Regularly travelling worldwide for commissioning, start-up activities and technical support.

No project is the same. One day you may be working from Leeuwarden on a new design, while the next you could be starting up an installation abroad and working together with the customer to implement the final optimizations.

WHAT DO YOU BRING?

You are analytically strong, have a passion for technology and enjoy solving complex process challenges. You like working together with colleagues and customers to find the best solutions and feel comfortable in an international working environment.

In addition, you bring:

• HBO or university-level working and thinking capacity;
• A completed degree in Process Technology, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science or a related field;
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience as a Process Engineer or Technologist;
• Experience with biological processes or wastewater treatment is a strong advantage;
• Good command of both Dutch and English;
• Knowledge of German, French, Spanish or Portuguese is an advantage;
• A valid driving licence (category B);
• Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis and occasionally stay abroad for longer periods.
